SHIPPING POLICY

"VELOK 03" EOOD | lapora.bg | In accordance with the CPA and the ECA

Updated: [DD.MM.2026]

This English text is a translation provided for information only. The legally binding version is the Bulgarian one; in the event of any discrepancy, the Bulgarian text prevails.

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

This policy sets out the terms and procedure for delivering orders placed through the website lapora.bg of "VELOK 03" EOOD, in accordance with the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Commerce Act (ECA).

The policy applies to the delivery of all products offered on lapora.bg, regardless of product category or collection.

2. ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are processed within 1–2 working days after payment is confirmed. An order confirmation is sent to the Consumer's email address on a durable medium, in accordance with Art. 48 CPA.

The Trader may request additional confirmation before dispatch. If no confirmation is received within a reasonable time, the order may be cancelled and the amount refunded.

3. DELIVERY TIMES AND METHODS

Delivery methodTimePrice
Standard delivery to an address1–5 working daysCalculated at checkout
Delivery to a courier office1–5 working daysCalculated at checkout
International delivery (EU)On individual termsStated when ordering
International delivery (outside the EU)On individual termsStated when ordering + customs duties

The maximum statutory delivery period is 30 (thirty) days from the conclusion of the contract, in accordance with Art. 54(1) CPA, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

If delivery is not made on time, the Consumer has the right to:

  • set an additional reasonable period for delivery
  • if that period is not met either — terminate the contract and receive a full refund of the amount paid at no additional cost

📌 If a delay is expected, the Consumer will be notified by email in good time.

4. DELIVERY PRICES

All delivery prices are stated in euro (EUR) — the only selling and payable price. The official fixed exchange rate is 1 EUR = 1.95583 leva.

The Trader may, at its own discretion, also show the equivalent delivery price in leva for information. In that case it must be unambiguously clear that the price in euro is the only payable price and that the leva amount is for reference only.

📌 Under the Act on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria, the period of mandatory dual display of prices ended on 8 August 2026. From 9 August 2026, delivery prices are stated in euro only.

The delivery price is calculated when the order is finalised and is clearly displayed before confirmation. The Consumer does not owe any additional costs that were not stated before the order.

The Trader may offer free delivery under certain conditions or in promotional campaigns.

5. TRANSFER OF RISK

The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to the Consumer when the goods are physically handed over to the Consumer or to a person designated by them other than the carrier, in accordance with Art. 54 CPA.

Exception: where the Consumer has chosen the carrier themselves and that carrier was not offered by the Trader, the risk passes when the goods are handed over to the carrier.

📌 Until physical receipt, the risk in transit is borne entirely by the Trader (for delivery arranged by the Trader).

6. OBLIGATIONS ON RECEIPT

The Consumer must inspect the parcel on receipt. If visible damage is found:

  • Refuse to accept it and ask for a report signed by both parties with the courier on the spot
  • Keep photos of the damaged packaging/goods as evidence
  • Notify the Trader at lapora@abv.bg on the day of receipt

For hidden damage found after opening — notify the Trader within a reasonable time.

⚠️ Important distinction — transport claims vs. legal guarantee

The report with the courier is needed ONLY for transport claims against the courier company.

The absence of a report does NOT limit or extinguish the Consumer's rights under the 2-year legal guarantee (Art. 112–115 CPA).

In the event of a defect or lack of conformity found after receipt, the Consumer may file a complaint within the guarantee period regardless of whether or not a transport report exists.

7. INCORRECT ADDRESS

If the Consumer gives an incorrect or incomplete address, the Trader is not liable for any delay or failure of delivery. Additional costs for re-delivery are borne by the Consumer.

To change the address before dispatch, contact us at lapora@abv.bg.

8. REFUSED PARCELS

If a parcel is refused without good reason or not collected, the Trader has the right to charge the delivery costs in both directions. Cancelling an order by refusing the parcel does not exempt the Consumer from transport costs, except where the right of withdrawal has been lawfully exercised in accordance with the Returns and Exchanges Policy.

9. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

The Trader delivers outside Bulgaria on individual terms, stated expressly when ordering.

🇪🇺 Delivery within the EU/EEA🌍 Delivery outside the EU/EEA (third countries)
No customs duties or import charges within the Single Market
The delivery price is stated when ordering
Customs charges and import taxes are borne by the Consumer
The amount depends on the law of the destination country

📌 From 2026, the customs exemption for consignments worth under EUR 150 imported from third countries into the EU no longer applies — this concerns goods imported by the Trader, not its sales to consumers in the EU/EEA.

10. DELAY AND FORCE MAJEURE

⚖️ Trader's liability for delay — Art. 54 CPA

The Trader is responsible to the Consumer for meeting the agreed delivery time, including in the event of delay by the courier company it has engaged.

The courier acts as the Trader's contractor. The Trader may bring recourse claims against the courier, but this does not release the Trader from its obligations to the Consumer.

In the event of a delay in delivery, the Consumer has the right to:

  • be informed in good time of the reasons and the expected new date
  • set an additional reasonable period for delivery
  • terminate the contract and receive a full refund of the amount paid — if the additional period is not met either

Force majeure:

In the event of objective force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes by third parties) affecting delivery, the Trader notifies the Consumer immediately. The Consumer retains the right to terminate the contract and receive a full refund if delivery is not made within a reasonable time after the force majeure event has ended.

📌 Force majeure may extend the delivery period but does not extinguish the Consumer's right to a full refund on termination of the contract.
